True Vibe, created in 2009, marks the beginning of AdorVita’s artistic practice. Conceived in the aftermath of a miscarriage, the series transformed an experience of reproductive loss into an act of creation. Using impressions of her own vulva arranged as Rorschach-like forms, AdorVita turned the female body into both subject and artistic material, allowing a body associated with loss to become capable of producing something new.

The resulting works move deliberately between anatomy and abstraction. Their symmetry evokes the psychological language of the Rorschach test, inviting viewers to project their own associations onto forms originating from an intimate part of the female body. What may first appear floral, organic, erotic, strange, or purely abstract gradually complicates the distinction between what is being seen and what the viewer brings to the act of seeing.

True Vibe established an inquiry that would continue throughout AdorVita’s practice: the female body as a site of creation, sexuality, vulnerability, psychology, loss, and transformation. Rather than illustrating the experience that produced it, the series transformed that experience into a visual language—the body became image, loss became material, and making art became another form of creation.
