To Live and Love in Vienna emerged from AdorVita’s experience of building a new life in Vienna during a period of profound personal change. Across six abstract paintings, forms drawn from the city’s architecture merge with the bodily and womb-like motifs that have long shaped her practice. Soft fields of color meet denser structural forms, holding femininity, motherhood, desire, grief, and creative freedom within the same visual space. The collection considers how a life can be reimagined without severing it from memory, love, or loss. Vienna is not merely the setting of the work, but a holding structure—a city through which the artist explores what it means to live, love, and create with greater autonomy.
