This gallery presents selected works from AdorVita’s evolving practice, tracing recurring inquiries into the body, identity, love, loss, language, philosophy, culture, and transformation across more than a decade of painting.

AdorVy (2013) explores anarchism, individual freedom, and resistance to imposed structures through the developing visual language of AdorVita’s early practice. AdorVita Returns (2022) marks the artist’s re-emergence following profound experiences of death, birth, grief, and renewal, considering what it means to return to creative life after being transformed by it.

A Very Dada Pilgrimage Through Germania (2023) grew from AdorVita’s study of Dada and a journey through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to encounter the places, ideas, and histories associated with the movement. Culminating at Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, the collection brings Dada’s embrace of chance, absurdity, experimentation, and artistic freedom into dialogue with personal experience.

Painting Poetry (The Demos) (2024) turns toward the relationship between painting, poetry, music, language, and love. Conceived as “demos,” the works embrace experimentation and artistic exchange, anticipating the deeper investigation of cultural influence, lived experience, and artistic formation that would later develop through Painting Poetry.

Together, these works reveal a practice continually changing in form while returning to a persistent question: how can lived experience be transformed into artistic language?
