Painting Poetry brings together two years of poems and original paintings exploring what AdorVita calls Living Poetry: a way of encountering life in which art is not separate from experience, but created through attention to it.

Moving between California, Vienna, and Berlin—and between English and German—the collection follows an artist through language, literature, music, desire, spirituality, femininity, grief, and creative transformation. Poems and paintings continually respond to one another: words become images, emotion becomes color, and lived experience becomes artistic form.

Tender, sensual, playful, devotional, and at times deeply vulnerable, the works resist separating art from the life that produces it. Love becomes poetry; bodies become paintings; music becomes color; cities become part of an interior landscape. Across the collection, these encounters gradually accumulate into a larger proposition: that a life attentively lived can itself become a work of poetry.
